Micol Rossini, Michele Meroni, Mirco Migliavacca, etc. High resolution field spectroscopy measurements for estimating gross ecosystem production in a rice field. Agricultural and Forest Meteorology. 2010,150:1283-1296.

This study examined the relationships between GEP estimated by EC and hyperspectral remotely sensed data acquired in a rice field to evaluate the LUE model.

In this study, several versions of LUE models were tested to understand the most effective formulation for estimating EC-derived GEP. The different models analyzed differ with respect to the methods selected for ε and APAR estimation.

I think the figure above is quite impressive and inspiring. Because, clearly, there is no midday depression, which is expected to show in terrestrial ecosystems.

This figure is interesting. Both reflectance indices and SiF could imply rice's phenological characteristic.
