Damm A, Guanter L, Paul-Limoges E, et al. Far-red sun-induced chlorophyll fluorescence shows ecosystem-specific relationships to gross primary production: An assessment based on observational and modeling approaches[J]. Remote Sensing of Environment, 2015, 166: 91-105.
This paper is a very honest paper.
It shows results very plainly.
Data were collected at noon in several sunny days across 4 years
1. for instantaneous data, there is a non-linear and ecosystem specific relationship
2. using SCOPE model simulations, the GPP-SIF relationship is more linear after temporal integration into daily mean value
3. using SCOPE model to demonstrate the influence of APAR to GPP-SIF/LUE-SIF yield relationships at leaf and canopy level.
I like Damm!
